Aaron Wolf is the subject of this week’s I96 driver profile. While he began his racing career at Crystal Motor Speedway a few years ago, Aaron Wolf No. 08 now makes I96 his home track. Aaron competes in the Hobby Stock division on the 3/8 mile track, which is inside of the ½ mile track, at the Speedway located just off of I96 between Lansing and Grand Rapids.
Aaron decided to make the switch to I96 last season and it's a move that has proven worth while since he has scored two feature wins early in the season. Winning isn't just a pipe dream for Aaron it's a must to keep his race team in the black. Since the reconfiguration of the formerly 1/4th mile track into the now 3/8ths mile track inside the facility's half mile speedway, I 96 Speedway has become Aaron's favorite track.
Aaron is shooting to race the full schedule in the 2009 season and continue to improve in the Hobby Stock division and make a run at a track championship. Monday through Friday when Aaron isn't working on his race car he can be found working at a plumbing supply warehouse.
Sponsors for the 2009 season on the No. 08 Hobby Stock include: Hillcrest Farms, Fisk Trucking, Clarksville Feed Store, Berger Chevrolet of Ionia, and the countless friends and family who support him.
