Tommy got involved in racing growing up around tracks. “I'm a third generation race car driver. My Grandfather, Raymond "Buck" Beezley raced at several local dirt tracks in Indiana, mainly Warsaw.
Tommy’s dad Tom was a seven time dirt track champion at Warsaw, Avilla, and Bryan Ohio. Tom Sr. ran the no. 69, and the team colors have always carried a orange trademark.
Tommy is a self-employed mechanic for Tom Beezley & Son Auto Repair. Tommy list his favorite race track as Butler and favorite race car driver as Tony Stewart No.14. Some of Tommy’s other favorites are country music, Josh Turner, food is pizza, and television show is CSI. Tommy list his greatest moment in racing as in 2005 his second year on dirt when he won the track championship, and then repeated again in 2006 at Gas City Indiana. One of Tommy’s least favorite memories was blowing a motor at Angola, and being in a big ball of flames going off the track backwards.
When I asked Tommy of his goals in racing he said quickly to win more than seven track championships beating my dads record! Tommy currently list 36 features to his title and 85 heat wins. Some of the tracks Beezley has raced at over his career are Angola, Baer field, Anderson, Spartan, Ideal Gas City, Eldora, Butler, Montpelier, Kokomo, and Dequion .
Tommy Beezley Racing is supported by a pit crew consisting of Tom Beezley, Trenton Vogtes, and Todd Whittenberger. Sponsors for the No. 69 are Farmers Mutual Ins., Sherman Ent., gon-ink design, Shoyer’s Varity, Doug Richards Well Drilling, Mark’s Furniture, Ace Radiator, Forty Wayne Clutch, Fort Wayne Trans, Jack Beeman Salvage, ABC Tree Removal, RJ Saylor Go-Karts, Tom Beezley & Son Auto Repair, and special thanks to Jann & Dad.
Tommy list his web page at www.beezleyracing.com. Tommy’s page is very well layed out and list a personal racing resume of all of his accomplishments in racing with great photo’s of past and present. One thing Tommy mentioned he would like to try is to get behind the wheel of a winged sprint. Beezley said “I’d like to give it a shot and take some laps behind a winged sprint”. SO if we have any owns out their looking to fill a seat with a veteran driver with numerous wins to his belt, give Tommy a holler in the pits, it could be very exciting!
