Notes from Merle :
Some clarifications on open practice nights. Wednesday is the preferred night. However, if the weather is bad on Wednesday and if our schedule permits we will consider Thursday.
In any event it is 6pm to 8pm and you need to call either Tuesday or at latest by noon on Wedensday to confirm you are coming.
The number to call is 574-215-4288.
Cost is $10 per person and $10 per car with a minimum of $30 per car total. So if you have one person and one car it is #30, two people and one car $30.
You will find most of the time you have the track to yourself but in any case plently of space!
We must have the $30 min per car to even make the the trip to open.
Any car can practice.
Notes from Patrick :
I want to relay my experience racing at Mottville Speedway two years ago.
I found the entire staff and most of the competitors to be very friendly and open to visitors. I know the reputation of the track is they are hard on visitors and they kind of like to keep things to themselves.
I could not have found that farther from the truth. They seemed very happy to have extra competitors and extended an open invitation to come back anytime.
The MARC Times Car will be making at least one stop in Mottville this year, we hope that we can turn that day into a fun little FWD festival.
