With heavy rain in the early afternoon hours througout most of northern Michigan and more on the way, Promotor Colleen Carron and owners Chad and Tracey Wescoat decided to call the show around 2:30. Fans don't want to sit in the wet and cold, nor do the drivers. With that being said, we are going to regroup for next week, as the weather hopefully plays in our favor. A full show of modifeds, factory stocks, pure stocks, bombers and 4 cylinders will be on hand along with the ugly truck contest. This weeks autograph session will be reschedule for another date to be announced. Also on another note, the invitational has been moved back a few weeks to September 25th and 26th. As many of the tracks down state and our neighbors to the north have already booked there specials for the other weekends. A strong move on the tracks part, this should open up the doors to more cars as most of the regular points nights at many of the area tracks will be finished.
