You know that the economy is really getting bad when folks start stealing racecars.
This time its a drag car from the local community
Dan Pranska of Onadaga saw his beloved 1968 Chevelle get stolen, Sunday 1-3-2010, just before noon from his home.
The car was last seen driving past Onondaga Dragway at noon headed East toward Leslie on Bellevue Rd. That's right folks, whomever took this car either had keys or popped the ignition and drove the car away.
Dan Pranska is the man behind Onondaga Dragway and all the plans to reopen the track.....
The car (as seen in the expandable photo on right) is a 1968 Chevelle, with the following modifications : back half, 496, T-400, and a twelve bolt.
