Champion Racing Association (CRA) and Plymouth Speedway (IN) have announced an innovative partnership with MarcTimesTV.com to broadcast their April 11th "Cabin Fever 200 presented by the Newton Center" race event from Plymouth Speedway.
"We are very happy to enter into a broadcast partnership with the CRA" said Marc Times Racing News publisher Patrick McNamara. "Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), or what is often referred to as live streaming, is the future of live motorsports broadcasting. We are excited that Plymouth Speedway and the CRA are inviting us to join them as part of their "Cabin Fever 200" team.
Plymouth Speedway and the CRA are making the "Cabin Fever 200 presented by the Newton Center" available nationwide as a Pay-Per-View event, broadcasting live from Plymouth Speedway at 2pm on
April 11th as the CRA's Howe Late Model Sportsman Division, the CRA Street Stocks and the CRA's Vore's Welding and Steel FWD Compacts thaw out Michiana's racing passion in the first big event of 2010. The "Cabin Fever 200" broadcast team will include veteran CRA announcer Adam Mackey along with Plymouth Speedway public address announcer Andrew Hayn. Adam and Andrew are among the best voices in short track motorsports and their skills and energy will contribute substantially to the 200 laps of feature racing being broadcast. MarcTimesTV broadcast is captured by three manned television cameras and produced on site utilizing the latest in mobile television transmission equipment. Streamed in high standard definition flash at 30 fps at 720i in 640x480 resolution, this PPV broadcast should provide stunning coverage of the event.

Plymouth Speedway is owned and operated by Bob Blount and Tom Smith. The gates opened for the first time in the Spring of 1952, with a surface of oil and stones. Bob and Tom assumed ownership of Plymouth Speedway in 2005, repaved the track and configured it to its current dimension of 3/8th medium banked set up.
